We answer your Aeroseal questions:
IS THE SEALANT USED IN THIS PROCESS SAFE?
Yes! The sealant is completely non-toxic. Thanks to the process Aeroseal uses, the sealant only is attracted to the air leaks in your ducts, which means that it’s not sprayed throughout. In fact, this process means a relatively tiny amount of sealant is used, overall. We air dry everything and then your ducts are ready to be used as normal.
HOW MUCH CAN I EXPECT TO SAVE ON MY ENERGY BILLS?
Typically, most homeowners, on average, will save about 30-40 % on their energy bills after the Aeroseal is complete. That’s how much leaky ducts can truly cost you. Since your ducts are used for both your air conditioner and furnace, those are year-round savings, not just seasonal ones. This makes Aeroseal a great way to save energy and money.
WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE AIR CONTROL FOR THIS SERVICE?
Every year, more and more HVAC businesses in our region get into the Aeroseal business. It’s just that effective. However, this means that many companies in western Arizona are relatively inexperienced with the product and the process. In contrast, Air Control’s technicians have been using Aeroseal for a while, and can be fully trusted.
WHAT KIND OF WARRANTY COMES WITH AEROSEAL?
Aeroseal comes with a 10-year guarantee that you won’t have any problems with the air leaks we’ve sealed in your ducts. However, Aeroseal has been tested to last for 40 years or longer, especially here in Arizona’s dry climate. If you have questions about the warranty—or want to know how to best maintain Aeroseal, talk to your Air Control technician.
