Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of Air Control air Conditioning, DBA Air Control Home Services, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Oldest A/C Contest (“Contest”) and shall not be subject to appeal.

HOW TO ENTER

The Oldest A/C Contest (“Contest”) will begin on Monday, November 2nd, 2026, and all contest entries must be received by 12:00 PM on Sunday, February 28th, 2027.

To participate, visit https://www.aircontrolaz.com/oldest-ac/ and complete the online entry form. All fields must be completed for a valid entry. Multiple entrants may not share the same email address. Proof of submission does not constitute proof of receipt.

Photo of the A/C

Entrants must agree to the official contest rules and grant Air Control Home Services permission to use submitted content for promotional purposes.

Air Control Home Services reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant who does not complete the form in full. By entering, participants grant Air Control Home Services full permission to use their name, submitted photos, and any images or likenesses of the A/C, home exterior, homeowner, or related property in marketing and promotional materials without additional compensation. This serves as both a photo release and property release. Entrants agree to receive newsletters and other information from Air Control Home Services from time to time. Air Control Home Services lists or customer information will not be shared with other companies. Entrants can remove themselves from any subscription lists at any time by notifying Air Control by mail, phone, or by email of their desire to be removed from any lists.

The prize will be awarded to the entrant listed on the form whose furnace is verified by an Air Control Home Services technician as the oldest working unit.

Limit one entry per household. The heating & cooling system must be in use and in working condition. Entrants must be at least 21 years old, own and reside in the home where the heating and cooling system is located. If located on a dirt road, the home must be less than one mile from a vehicle accessible pavement road. The home must be located in one of the following Arizona or Nevada service towns: Lake Havasu City, Kingman, Bullhead, Mohave Valley, Fort Mohave, Laughlin, Golden Valley, Parker, Yucca, Topock, Golden Shores, Golden Valley, Dolan Springs, Peach Springs, Chloride.

ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

This contest is open to U.S. residents aged 21 and older at the time of entry who own the home listed, it serves as their primary residence, and they reside in one of the eligible service towns listed above.

A/C can not be swap coolers or window units

Valid ID and proof of residency may be required

Employees of Air Control Home Services and their family members are not eligible.

PRIZE

One prize will be awarded, consisting of:

A standard Trane air conditioning model.

Delivery and professional installation

* A/C capacity and efficiency will be determined in compliance with current building codes and recognized industry standards to ensure the home is heated adequately and efficiently.

Prize includes:

New Air Conditioning Unit

Removal of existing equipment

Connection to existing ductwork (with sealed transitions)

Reconnection to electrical and condensate drain (as-is condition)

Full system check and clean-up

10-year manufacturer parts warranty (original winner only)

1-year labor warranty from Air Control Home Services

The winning entry will be responsible for: duct system modifications (if necessary), any hazardous material removal and abatement (e.g., asbestos, mold, etc.), and any improvements needed to bring the installation in compliance with existing building and mechanical codes (any applicable costs will be discussed beforehand).

SELECTION OF WINNER

The entrant with the oldest verified working furnace, as recorded by 5:00 PM MT on March 1st, 2027, will be declared the winner. The winner will be notified by phone and/or email.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. No purchase necessary.

All decisions by Air Control are final and binding.

TAX REPORTING

Any promotion with a prize valued at $600.00 or more results in tax implications. The winner acknowledges that the winner and the prize shall be reported to the Internal Revenue Service. The winner will be required to complete a prize validation form acknowledging that winner is aware, acknowledges and understands that winner will be responsible for taxes as a result of winning the Contest.

Winners are solely responsible for any and all local, State and Federal taxes on the prize, including sales or use taxes, as well as any expenses related to participation in the Contest and/or acceptance of the prize.

CONDITIONS

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Air Control, its owners, officers, agents, employees, affiliates, subsidiaries, and representatives from any injuries, loss, or damages to persons and/or property due in-whole or in-part, directly or indirectly, to the acceptance or use/misuse of the prize, participation in any promotion-related activity or participation in the Contest.

Prize is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash. No entry fee or purchase is required.

TERMS

Air Control Home Services reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest should (in its sole discretion) a virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, fraud or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Contest. In such case, Air Control Home Services may select the recipients from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Sinclaire.

Air Control reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or website or violates these Official Rules.

Air Control has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Contest, to void entries for any reason, including, but not limited to; multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by Contest rules; or the use of bots, macros or scripts or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Air Control reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
